DESIGN TIPS: WALL FIXTURES

HELPFUL TIPS ON HOW TO MEASURE FOR INSTALLATION

Here is our downloadable guide to help you measure and proportion your light fixtures to your space. Feel free to contact our Customer Care Team customercare@reginaandrew.com for any additional questions that you may have.

#1

IN HALLWAYS OR LIVING SPACES

Multiple hallway, living or dining room sconces
should accent the space with an adequate amount
of light based on a minimum of 8-10’ between
each fixture.

#2

BEDSIDE FIXTURES

We suggest leaving about 55-60” of space
between the floor and the top of the sconce.
If your sconce has a switch, make sure
that it is easily accessible from a sitting
position on the bed.

#3

BESIDE A BATHROOM MIRROR

In order to have even illumination across a mirror
from side placed sconces, space the fixtures 60-65”
from the floor to the center of the backplates.

#4

ABOVE A BATHROOM MIRROR

The ideal linear sconce for above a bathroom mirror
should be 3/4 the width of the mirror without
extending over each side.
