Erika Ward’s Georgian Lakefront Retreat
Erika Ward, CEO and Principal Designer of Atlanta based Design studio, Erika Ward Interiors, had the chance this spring to completely redesign her family’s dream home with the help of Universal Furniture and Regina Andrew.
A Deck Fit For Every Use
For this project, Erika aimed to create a space that is not only inviting and comfortable, but was composed of different zones specific for each use. By utilizing multiple areas of this beautiful outdoor space, she successfully brought indoor comfort outside, with a chic dining area, a lounge coupled with a retractable cabana to keep the summer rain off, and a small seating area perfect for sharing a glass of cold lemonade on a hot day.
We had the chance here at Regina Andrew to talk with Erika to find out what our items lended to her beautiful space.
What lighting worked best on this project?
"We opted for the Montecito Single and Double Sconces for our deck and the Sydney Outdoor Sconces for the patio. These lights complement the Mediterranean vibe of my home, which I adore. The touch of black in these fixtures adds sophistication."

This outdoor patio space is to die for. Completely covered from the elements for year round use, Erika used the same design philosphy as her deck and created multiple zones to create a space able to be used in almost any way imaginable.
