RAD Spotted in Kerry Washington's New NYC Home
A LOOK INTO KERRY WASHINGTON AND HER STUNNING HOME
Kerry Washington, the award-winning actor, director, producer, wife, mother, and daughter, has lived the bicoastal life for years now, and was ready to settle into her full-time home with her family. What better place to live and create this foundational home than New York City, the place where Kerry was born and raised. Having a place where she and her family would feel comfortable, inspired, and safe was a top priority for Kerry. When it came to thinking of what she wanted in her new home, she knew the perfect person to bring her vision to light was her longtime friend and decorator Gary Riotto.

Gary Riotto's design choices based on years of friendship
Kerry and Gary Riotto met twenty years ago as actors in a theatre company in New York, and have remained close friends since. Because of this close relationship, Gary knew that he wouldn't be working with one style, but a mix of natural materials and calming tones, to create that comfortable space Kerry and her family were looking for. When talking about what style she wanted in her home Kerry said "Kind of like I love all the different characters I’ve gotten to play in my life and in my career, I really love all different types of design". Gary hit the nail on the head in this wonderful home, and even helped design her childrens' rooms with their insight.
